During this trip, you can get out of the city to see the attractions of Bangkok’s surroundings.

You will see Kanchanaburi province home of the famous Bridge over the River Kwai and the notorious Death Railway during these days. Also, we will travel to see Siam’s ancient capital of Ayutthaya out of Bangkok. You can see all Bangkok’s famous temple, canals and the floating market at Damnoen Saduak.

 
Detail itinerary

Day 1: Bangkok (B)
In the morning, your guide will pick you up from your Bangkok hotel and take you on a tour:
The Grand Palace – a former royal residence featuring Wat Phra Kaew, home to the stunning Emerald Buddha carved from a single piece of jade.
Wat Pho – famous for its giant reclining Buddha and traditional Thai massage school.
After lunch, you will:
• Ride a long-tail boat along the Chao Phraya River.

• Visit Wat Arun, one of Bangkok’s most iconic temples.
Explore Chinatown (Yawarat) – see the solid gold Buddha at Wat Traimit and take a walking tour of the vibrant streets.
In the late afternoon, you will be transferred back to your Bangkok hotel.

Day 2: Bangkok (B)
Your guide will pick you up at 7:00 AM for a trip to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Along the way, you'll stop at:
Maeklong Train Market – watch vendors set up goods on railway tracks and witness the train passing through.

A local home industry – see how palm sugar is made.
After the market visit, you'll take a boat to explore a fishing village in the estuary and mangrove swamps, where macaque monkeys may swim to your boat for a snack.
At the end of the tour, you will be returned to your hotel in Bangkok.

Day 3: Bang Pa-in (B)
Your guide will meet and pick you up from your Bangkok hotel for the 53 km drive north to visit the Unesco World Heritage site of Ayutthaya. On the way, we will make the first stop a-t Bang Pa in Summer Palace. Then, we will continue to visit the Wat Yai Chaimongkol. Then, we will drive you back to your Bangkok hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 4: Kanchanaburi (B)
It will take you the beautiful province of Kanchanaburi this morning where our first stop will be at the Allied prisoners off war cemetery and the Thailand and Burma Railway Center, this museum is the best information source for those interested in the construction of this war time railway and the history and lives of the prisoners and asian laborers who constructed it. You will also see the famous Bridge Over The River Kwai in the town of Kanchanaburi.
